Detox Yourself πŸ“²- Live Your Life

In this era of Digital lifeπŸ’»πŸ“…, why don't you experience peace by embracing natureπŸƒ

Let's learn about the Art of detoxing 😌 and get to feel the inner peaceπŸ’š

Detox, in general terms means removing toxins from our body. But this blog is regarding technological detox.

Why to detox yourself from Technology integrated life? πŸ€”

Technological detox means taking a break from screens, laptops, mobile phones, and all those etc. etc. that control our lives. People in this generation (the so-called Gen Z) are highly attracted to the social media lifestyle. They are heavily influenced by what they see online and start aspiring for such lives, whether real or fake. Constant notifications and never-ending notification sounds distract them, and nowadays, people can’t even take their eyes off their phones for a minute. This habit of addiction is very harmful and can leave a negative impact throughout your life.

Waking up by checking your phone, still sitting on your bed scrolling through WhatsApp and Instagram - that alone eats up a lot of your precious morning time. And then, slowly (very slowly) you get up, do your morning chores, and have your breakfast while still watching your phone - uff! People, at least eat your food properly and be grateful for what you have.

The rest of the day just flies by attending college, going to work, etc. (where, to be fair, technology is highly used and can't be avoided). After reaching home or your hostel, people start their regular ritual of watching their mobile phones for hours and hours. Then, like clockwork, they stay glued to their screens until 1 or 2 o’clock at night, finally sleeping late with some beautifully dark and puffy circles under their eyes. πŸ˜‚

People have so much screen time these days, and I genuinely don’t understand how they can waste their precious lives just by scrolling through reels and swiping through social media. I guess Gen Z doesn't realize how technology is sneakily eating away their time, but trust me, sooner or later, they all will understand the true meaning of life.

Once upon a time, I was like this too. I was so heavily influenced by technology that I couldn’t be without my phone for even a second. I got my first phone at a very wrong age - 6th grade. My dad bought me and my sister a tablet each (yes, one each, because sharing wasn’t our thing, LOL). From that moment, I was hooked. My world revolved around that tablet - wherever I went, the tablet went too. I gave it my full, undivided attention, as if it were my best friend. But thankfully, with time, I changed myself.

People, understand one thing: there’s a much more wonderful life waiting for you beyond scrolling on your mobile all day!

Just imagine this: waking up at 6 o'clock, starting your day with a fresh cup of coffee, and sitting outside on your veranda. Feel the cool breeze, watch the sunrise, listen to the birds chirping, and most importantly, enjoy the peace and silence that comes from just being. Then do your work, take a refreshing shower, eat your breakfast properly (chew, don't gulp!), and show gratitude to whoever makes that delicious food for you every day. Head to the office or college and have a good time with your colleagues and friends. After coming back home, freshen up, grab a tasty snack, and talk to your friends, partner, or parents about your day. Watch something funny on TV, laugh your heart out with your family, and have a relaxed dinner. End your day by taking a peaceful walk in your garden and then enjoy a full 8 hours of proper, restful sleep. πŸ’€

And during weekends and holidays, occupy yourself with new hobbies! Maybe read a good book, paint, cook, learn a new skill or a new language, listen to music or podcast or even start writing a blog just like me! πŸ˜‚

People, y'all honestly have no idea how much mobiles and technology silently influence your day-to-day life. Use mobile phones but only when required. You can set limits to reduce your usages.

Guys, seriously, live your real life. You only live once, so experience the things that give you peace and genuine happiness. Travel to new places, meet new people, and make real-world connections. Live a good, pleasant life, not just through a screen but through your own beautiful experiences. ✨

You all clearly know the difference between those images! So, let's all live our lives blissfully ✨😊

Until then, Peace✌
